S&B CAI install on 2007 F150
Well got bored today and installed a S&B CAI on our 2007 F150 FX4. Very nice piece.

Looks great! Nice, clean looking CAI. I may have to look into one of those for my '05.
Meh, I wouldn't worry too much about the running lean thing. If it is, is sooo slight that it won't matter. I don't think an otherwise stock engine is capable of breathing that much more air enough to hurt itself. I ran a very similar K&N CAI on my previous '04 5.4 3v for over 8 years and 150K miles. People always warned me that it was making it lean and killing my engine. Blah-blah-blah.
Guess I didn't listen. I also ran a Superchips Flashpaq with a canned performance tune along with it.
My engine ran strong and purred like a kitten until the little black gal pulled out in front of me and ended that truck.

Thanks for looking out. We had decided to get a tune and wanted to make sure we added the things that needed for tunes. So that is why we added the CAI at this time. Really happy with our dealings with MPT Tuning.
