Angry SLTS time for front brakes

I recently had the front brakes on my F150 serviced at my Ford dealer. New Rotors, Pads and Calipers. Does anyone know how many hours are allowed in Ford's SLTS for this job?

I was charged over 6 hours and somehow that seems excessive.

I don't know what the book says however I don't think it would take anyone that long to replace pads, rotors, and calipers. The hardest part of that job is getting the old rotor off of the truck once that's done it should take no time at all! Sounds like your dealers service department needs some serious if it took them six hours to complete the work.

you have just experienced the unfortunate part of warranty work!

if the book says 6 hours thats what they charge even if it only took the tech 1 hour. most dealers I have dealt with also follow this rule for non-warranty repairs too!

typically, 2.5 hrs per axle includes, pads, rotors (machining or replacement) and bearing pack and then add time for both calipers should be about 1-1.5 hours
did they do a four wheel brake replacement with new frt rotors?
