Antilock Brakes

I have a '95 150 w/antilock brakes that seem to engage prematurly. In other words, when I come to a stop using moderate force on the pedal, I can feel the pulsing of the antilock kicking in. Anyone have any ideas as to what would be causing this? The brakes are only about 6 months old and work well, except for the pulsing.

Thanks, Rick

Are you on dry pavement or on snow? On snow the abs kicks in really easy because the wheels lock up so quick. Its been my experiance the abs is good on ice and wet pavement but it sucks in snow.

probably a base brake, not and abs problem, sounds like the abs is doing its job but the tires are trying to lock, perform close brake inspection and maybe change brake pad brands
