Jackal,

I keep replying to your posts. I feel like we ought to be sitting over a few beers somewhere talking trucks.

Anyway, here's my thoughts on your mileage tires question.

I have owned the following, so I will comment on these first.

BFG AT- I got around 45-50,000 out of these.
BFG MT- These tires got me a solid 40,000+
GY MT/R- I have 25,000 on a set now and expect 10-20,000 more
Buckshot- I had a bias set of these years ago. I may have gotten 15,000 out of them. I'm sure the radial would last longer.

I haven't owned the pro-comp tires and probably never will. I'm sold on the mt/r now as you have read. However, I think these tires carry a 50,000 warranty. They should last pretty well. The sidewalls on these have always looked weak to me. Later, Rich.

Hehehe...that'd be nice, just got back from doing that very thing actually. Thanks for all the replies man, you have a lot of experience with these tires it looks like. I'm still unsure, but I'm leaning toward the BFG AT or the Pro Comp. I suppose it'll all come down to cost. I never see mud, and don't get to do much off-roading around here, so I think I'll stick with an AT. Hopefully the Pro Comp sidewalls are tuff enough to survive on such a narrow rim.
