Thumbs up Went with 20s

Decided to go with 20's so after getting some opinions off of this forum, i got the Ice Metal 885's 20X9. I get them put on tommorrow, so i'll post some pics if anyone wants to check them out .... ?????

Let me know what ya think,,, OH and the BEST PART,,, I got tires for 70 $ A PIECE because when the guy drove off the lot, he realized they were too big, so turned around and came back... They have less then 1 mile on them, but HEY, once you take them off the lot... the price isn't there. Anyways it was a steal...

Yes, be sure to post some pics! What kind of tires did you get? Goodyear Eagle GTII's? Sounds like a real good deal!

99flareside,

Let me start off by saying, "I hate you."

Everytime I see one of your posts, I have to see those awesome wheels on your truck. Someday, when I hit the lottery, I will have a set of those on my truck. What is the width on those? I know those are a polished finish. How hard is it to keep them lookin' good? You have the Belltech drop the same as I, is there any wheel or tire rubbing issues with the steering wheel turned all the way in either direction? If they weren't so dang expensive......

LOL 2000regcab54, I say the same thing about your Magnacharger! Perhaps we can work out a trade! My wheels weren't too expensive. Got them on sale for $1795 + tax, then another ~$500 for the tires. But it all adds up! As for the width they are 9.5" wide and the 275/45 Goodyears are the minimum width recommended for the wheels, but those 295/40 and 45's are about $300 a piece compared to my $110 tires. There's no rubbing what so ever with the drop, it about the same diameter as the stock 255/70/16's. As far as keeping them clean I just use carwash soap, but they are not quite as shiney as when I got them. I bought some high quality polish at the Spring Truck Jamboree but I have yet to put it on my wheels. The guy did a demo on the bottom of a soda can and man did that sucker shine! I hope to polish them in the next week or two!

99flareside,

Where did ya get 'em for $1795? It says $668 each on their website. That's $2672 according to my math. That's why I said they're too dang expensive. $1795 isn't that bad.

ROUSHFAN-1, I hope to have it done this weekend!

2000regcab54, I bought them at a Goodguys show from Aftermarket Wholesale ( www.got20s.com ) on a "show special" which at the time (March '01) was about $600 savings. Give them a call, I think the price now is around $2100 a set but call to make sure!
