Extraction tool and process to remove stuck plastic ABS sensor behind rotor 2000 F150

2000 F150 4x4
I spent an hour trying to carefully extract a stuck front left ABS Wheel Speed Sensor. Regardless, it broke. Photos attached to understand how it happened.
Anyone know of a tool or process to remove the remainder plastic cylinder stuck inside? Truck has 180,000 miles. Tried to clean all around gently. I was aware this could happen. And it did, unfortunately. Left the end exposed with copper wiring.
I'm replacing both sides. ABS light never went off. No codes. But ABS would go off when coming to stops under 5 mph. Everything I read and watched led to this problem.

I think a coarse thread (wood screw?) into the plastic and then pull it. Or the screw will help break it up into smaller pieces.....

I'd just drill it out carefully.
