Resetting TPMS and got 2 beeps!

Due to damage I had to replace one TPMS sensor on my 2015 F-150. When I go through the proper procedure for relearning the system, I get 2 horn sounds instead of 1 after lowering the air pressure at the new sensor.
We have tried the procedure 3 times with this same result.
Does this confirm that the sensor is bad?

I'm here and I have no idea. Have you asked a dealer tech or a tire store?

Haven't checked with the dealer yet.
More info: I did check with the E-bay seller who I bought it from. He says I bought the wrong one. I have e-mailed him proof that his compatibility chart on the sale said it WAS THE RIGHT ONE!
Complained to him about the high cost of dismounting the tire and a re-balance.
Waiting for his reply.

Interesting. When I check Tire Rack, they don't list sensors for a 2015 F150. That tells me they may be a Ford dealer item only.

Tasca has 2 choices, different frequencies. I'd call Tasca or a dealer with your VIN to see which one you need.

Ebay seller is returning a partial payment and letting me keep the sensor.

I called my local Ford dealer. There have the proper one waiting for me.

Still problems! I had the new Ford Parts TPMS installed in the wheel. Bolted the wheel on the truck and went through the resetting procedure.
Still 2 beeps from that wheel!

I have not had to do this yet on my '15 truck, but I used a tool for a '12 F250. I also know I had to read the instructions several times...
Make sure there are no other vehicles near yours, and that the old sensors are nowhere near you.
Did you use the instructions from the Owner's Manual?
If that did not work maybe your tire store or Ford can help?

I used instructions I found on line and they had worked fine on another truck. A retired Ford mechanic friend this morning said "forget all that - jump in the truck and drive -they will reset themselves" Wondering if he is correct for this 2015 year truck.
May need to seek advice from the $90. an hour Ford dealer.

Don't know if anybody is interested, but.......
The "manually lowering the pressure and waiting for 1 beep" didn't work.
Driving 100 miles didn't work.
Had to get the dealer to reset with the proper tool, All fixed.
