Tire size questions

I have a 2006 f150 5.4 4x4 with the H9 3.55 LS I am running right now 18" wheels on 35" tires and I want more power but I don't really want to fork out the money to regear but wondering if I went to a 33" tire if it would be worth it to help regain some power, thanks.

Any drop in either/or/both rolling stock overall diameter and mass will gain you back some 'power'.

Try to find the lightest, least aggressive 33's you can. Or go all the way back to stock size.

There is still the speedo/odo/shift point errors to address though.

Neither ye warm air intake (Washoobi), nor ye exhaust offer any gains worth noting. All the gains you have are as a result of the Gryphon.

Check yer tire size input values against a GPS.

93 octane max perf custom tunes.

Smaller & lighter rolling stock.

Regear to 4.10's or lower (higher numerically)

Put the truck on a diet. Get rid of silly/heavy junk like bullbars, in-bed hot-tubs, etc.

Exemplary maintenance. Fresh front O2's.

Not much else this side of a blower left to do.
