Just replaced my stock 255/70/17 wheels and tires with a set of F150 stock wheels, new size is 275/70/18 and after driving about 10 miles my tire warning light came on? Pressure is good in all.

Is this a sensor in the wheel? can i turn it off?

TPMS.....no way to turn it "off"

Whenever wheels/rims are swapped on a vehicle with TPMS sensors need to be swapped to the other wheels/rims or the other set of wheels/rims needs new compatable TPMS sensors and they need to be programmed to the vehicle...

Is this somthing I need to worry about? Planning on a tuner soon, can I modify or turn off with turner?

As far as I know the TPMS system is tough to turn off or even spoof(many have tried)...I don't know of any programmer that will allow it either....


Either live with the light or get some TPMS sensors

I can live with the light as long nothing on the truck get's hurt by the sensors being wrong.
