Questions about 20x10 vs 20x9

Hey I'm buying new wheels and tires tomorrow and want to make sure I go in and buy what I want. I know for sure I'm getting 305/55/20 Toyo open country AT2 extremes. I want the fuel maverick in black and milled. My issue is I want to have a deep lip on my wheel without the wheel sticking out real far from the side of my truck. If I get a 20x10, it's the lip size I want, while the 20x9 is nice, I want a bigger lip. I have a 2" RC level. I want to know about issues with rubbing and how far the wheel will stick out with 20x10 and 305's. Here are the specs for you guys who know wheels.....

20x9 fuel maverick - lip size 1.89" offset +1 and +20
20x10 fuel maverick - lip size 3.5" offset -12 and -24

I have a 18x10 with -12 offset. I have a slightly narrower tire than what you are going to run, but they are the trails with a more aggressive tread and they stick out 1 3/4" beyond the fender of an FX4 with factory fender flare. On the rim mine actually measure 32 1/2" x 12". I believe yours are a true 33x12.5. You will have to do some very minor trimming, but they will fit and look great imo. Plus if you ever decide to lift later, that offset will look great. The deeper lip was worth it to me for some minor trimming.

Granted I like offset, the -12 will be what you want, so for your eye-candy, if it rubs your best to just make it work with some trimmings. If any trimming is needed, it should be very vague. Valance edge if that. Terra Grapplers don't have knobby side lugs and the 33" tire won't be very round enough to cause rubbing with your level.
