what's the thickest wheel spacers I can run with stock lugs..... without having to go with adapters?
I'm looking to get between .5 and 1 inch.

A-That method is the most unsafe
B-You can go as thick as you want, just depends on how few treads you prefer to have holding your lug nuts on

Spacers, I would not go any further than 1/4". Anything more, play it safer, and get adapters with new lug bolts.

Unfortunately I did not have the option to go -12 offset like you did!
So my options now are limited. My wheels are 20x9 at +13 Offset.

I cant find Adapters that are 1" in size. only 1.25"+

That's because they're unsafe. It only leaves .6ish inches of the stud left for the lug nut to thread onto. If you want spacers, do it the safest way and go with the ones that have new studs pressed in, and you do get what you pay for.

That is not what I meant. What I meant was slip on spacers vs bolt on.

This is the safer of the two routes

I was referring to the unsafe part being the reason why he can't find them in under 1". Anything under 1.6ish inches either requires trimming the stock studs down for the adapters to fit which the more you take off, the less you have holding it on, or going with those really sketchy spacers.

I didn't quote you to correct you or disagree with you, I was doing it to back up my original statement to the op. We're on the same side
