Plasti dipped stock wheel

Plasti dip sprayed one of my stock wheels today in a matte black to see how it looked. At first was a little disappointed, but after it got done drying it actually turned out pretty decent. Gonna put another coat on tomorrow and do the other wheels. The winter set will be ready soon!

Update: The second coat turned out to be an epic fail due to the fact I'm an idiot and didn't consider it got down to 10 degrees last night and even in the heated shop the plasti dip was cold. It came out all spotty which you probably couldn't see unless you were close but looks pretty bad if you are. Gonna try a third coat and see if it will even out, if not I'll take it off and start over with a slight bit more experience (hopefully).

Is that the anthracite or the grey color they have? Did you use the glossifier on top also?

Just got the matte black wheel kit, nothing else added. Just sprayed on and let dry.

Your probably gonna wish you did that after you had tires put on. Tires shops will scrape the dip of in spots.

Well then I have two options, do it myself, or just put another coat on after they have tires on them.

That looks pretty darn good! I like how it looks with Plastidip's clear on top too, it makes a good bit of difference.
