No breakpower

Today i have changed front breakpads and calipers. I have bleed the front breaks using plenty of breakfluid, dot 4.

Problem is, that no matter how much i pump the breakpedal, it goes to the floor with no/very Little resistans and no break power.

Cheched the breakline, caliper and master cylinder for leaks - there are no leaks.

No problems before changing pads and caliper.

Anybody have any sugestions on what is the matter?

You didn't put the calipers on the wrong sides(left on right, right on left) so the bleeder valves are on the bottom?

That is exactly what i did,
Spent a lot of time thinking of the left and right marking on the calipers. It did not look right with the valves on the bottom. But i followed the side marking on caliper.
Will switch right away. Hope this helps.

Thanks a lot

Don't all F150s use DOT-3?

In the US, yes they use DOT3.

But the OP is in Denmark. Most European nations require DOT4. He probably has a different reservoir cap and it says DOT4.

Always put in the fluid per your reservoir cap / manual.

And yes, I know that DOT4 is generally compatible with DOT3, but be sure to do research before you change it out. They both must be glycol based fluids.

Putting the wrong thing in will trash your entire brake system. Trust me, I've seen the effects.
