35 12.5 17 Nitto Trail Grapplers
I know this has been asked a million times but i just bought these tires at a killer deal. I had Discount Tire put on a 35 12.5 20 BFG KM2 to make sure there was no rubbing. The rim had a +25 offset and it didn't rub. I want the tire to stick out a little bit more than what the +25 was. Now i read online that a 5.5 to 6.0 offset you will not rub. If i go with a +10 offset, will i run into any problems?
I have a 2005 Ford F150 XLT 4X4 with a 2" level.
Thanks

My wheels offset are +18, tires are 12.5" wide, and only rub the lower control arms just barely at full turn. Un-leveled 4wd also.
On my '04 XLT 4wd these wheels/tires stuck out nice and bull dog style. On my '07 Lariat which comes factory with paint matched fender flares, they do not look like they stick out as much as they did on my XLT, maybe just a half inch. They looked like a full inch or a little more on my XLT.

My Lariat also has molded splash guards. Between the flares, and splash guards, there is less damage to my front doors paint than what my XLT had.

I say you would be fine even with a 0 offset. Most only need to slice the corner of the valance off for mostly just peace at mind. My truck is clearing these +18 offset wheels with 12.5" wide M/Ts with no level, or any plastics trimmed. I will not cut to fit a tire either. I intend to be 2.5" leveled when I get a set of 295/60-20 Trail Grapplers though.

I am going to have to go with the buckshot since i want a 9" rim and it will have to be a +15 in order to clear everything.
