So confusedddddd!

Sorry guys, another one of those threads..... search option didnt help either. I''m looking to run a 33x10 all terrain tire and cant decide on what brand first off, and second off i have NO idea what a 33x10 translates to. searc option resulted in a few different sizes such as 285x65 or 285x70. seriously i have NO idea wtf to get. i've got a 2012 lariat 2x4 with a 2.5 HBS leveling kit.

285/65/18 will be just under 33 and about 11 inches wide. You could even do 295/65/18s which goodyear makes if you don't mind trimming the lower front bumper valance (plastic). Are your rims really 10 inches wide? A nine inch width is much more common.

yep

i thought they were 9" too, especially because when I ordered them it said that they were. the guy who installed them said they were 10". I'd like something that DOESNT screw up my mpg, doesnt fill up my wheel well and look clogged but be bigger than stock and more agressive. and cant forget look good!! if i could post pics from my iphone, then i would throw up a picture just to give everyone an idea of what im working with

With a 10 inch wide wheel, you are gonna have to stay with a 33 inch tall tire and do some trimming since you have a 4x2.

Check this thread to see if the 33s look too stuffed for your liking. His are 285/70/17, which are equivalent to 285/65/18 height wise.

actually no, those look good. not sure how much I like the tires themselves, but I like the way it fits in and doesnt look too stuffed. alot better than the empty void I have now.

Then look for 285/65/18 which is a common size. Now you will just need to decide what kind of tire you want. I suggest going to tirerack.com or discounttiredirect.com, put that size in and check out the results. Even if you buy tires locally, always good to do some research.

All terrains will almost always last longer and get slightly better mpg, but mud terrains like the trail graps look way better.

About how long do the trail graps get? And is there any noticeable difference in mpg?
