I'm running wagner thermoQ's semi-metallics and stock-turned rotors up front. Feels a step above the stock pads, and the brake dust is the same if not worse

I wouldnt recommend wagner if your not a fan of brake dust

Well that's a first!!!! Don't think
I've ever heard anyone complain about dust on the Wagners. Dust is almost non-existent on mine (and second only to the EBCs) and is pretty much the standard report on them.

I know, I use my truck as a daily, and the chrome wheels suck at hiding the brake dust. It may be because the stock rotors? I bought the wagners from all the reviews of others here on the forum.

I really would like a big brake kit, I'll shop when time comes. Again OP this is my scenario, you may have better luck with wagners and aftermarket rotors on the dust if you choose the Wagner route

That's odd! I have stock pads up front and wagners in the back with stock rotors all around and the dust in the back from the wagners is almost non existent, and on the fronts they look almost black after 3-4 weeks of driving w/o washing.

Some just do a lot of high speed braking on expressways jammed with vehicles during rushhours. Haven't seen any brake dust yet on my 11 ta 12 with 14" rotors.

This is Powerstop drilled and slotted rotors with ZR16 ceramic pads that haven't been washed in over a month. I go to work 5 times a week and have driven an extra 1000 miles visiting family in Oregon and Washington.

Drilled/Slotted rotors do not give you better performance in a truck. On a reacetrack where they are getting hot- yes, but in a truck- no. The slots and drill holes result in lower surface area for friction to bite, so you are in fact, getting worse performance over stock rotors.

Sometimes I wonder if the people that nock drilled and slotted have ever had them. I personally have had both stock Motorcraft and now these. I can say from personal experience that these hands down have blown the O.E. brakes away. The stopping distance greatly improved and 0 brake fade. If you haven't had them on your F150 then how would you know?? When I tow it is extremely noticeable how much better they are. I have yet to warp a rotor and my pads have been on for over 50,000 miles and I still have more than 50% pad left. I drive it like I stole it 50% of the time. So all this being said, can your wagners or any other compare?? I doubt it. to each there own but there is a by the book way, speculation and then there is what works from experience. My wifes Tacoma has O.E. pads and rotors and when she drives my truck she always states how much better my truck stops. Considering my truck has twice the horsepower and weight, Could it be coincedence of just plain fact. You decide who you want to believe. Porsche, Farrari, lamborgini, BMW, Astin Martin, SaleenS-7, Ford GT, INDY, Formula 1, NASCAR and Trucks the list of users of these brakes goes on and on and then you wonder......why??? cause they are BETTER! Hot or cold, wet or dry Better. The slots de-gas the pads and the drilled cools them down hence a higher efficiency. None of the vehicles I spoke of have a problem stopping at slower speeds do they? Nope.
