3" wheel spacers- Not for the faint of heart
I read, somewhere in these forums, that running 3" wheel spacers will definitely kill wheel bearings. Any wheel bearings. People said 3 inches per side is just to much and blah blah blah. After quite a bit of searching, I found 3", hubcentric, 6x135 spacers. So I want to know how long you guys (and gals) give me before my bearings go. Because I don't think they're going anywhere! The bearings are brand new, wheels are 17", tires are 33". I should also tell you that the truck is built for and sees heavy off road use. What do you think? are the bearing going to last? I'll bet you dollars to doughnuts the bearings, hubs, and spacers hold up at 90mph+ on the dirt!
Definitely best idea I've heard all day. Make sure to do some video taping when you catch some air doing 90 offroad, actually mostly of just when you land.
I'm confused however though of how you've built the truck to do 90 threw the dirt and still need to widen the trackwidth

Yes, I'm talking about wheel spacers- not a leveling kit. I'll have RaceRunner coilovers on the front of the truck by tomorrow. I won't be able to run her this weekend because I have a race to go to up in Barstow. I"ll do all the fine tuning throughout next week. She'll be out the following weekend attempting to break 90, or break my truck. I'll get it on video for the doubters, and for the daughters. What the hell does that even mean? ..
Yah its not good for it and 3"s is alot but its your truck so do what you want. I want pics though of this truck since its built for heavy offroad use. Only seen a few trucks that are like that...
