With all the talk about the valance needing to be cut, I went and checked mine. I never noticed that the previous owner had the valance cut. It looks like they just used a utility knife to me.

While I was at it, I took a pic of the rear where it rubs on the inside of the fender.

Strangely, I have rub marks on the outside of my coil overs as well. I've turned the wheel every which way and I can't figure out where it came from. It seems as if it is old and not an ongoing rub but I am not sure. Thoughts?

I have a 2.5" level and don't rub with 35x12.50x20 on a 0 Offset 20x9 wheel....I would figure a 6" kit would be able to clear..... Granted I had to trim, but even then it was not much at all

No lift on 35s. Barely rubs at full lock.

Desertrat- Those marks on the coils look like what i've seen on the trucks that have issues with contact between the coil and UCA.

So, you think on full droop they are rubbing on the coils then? For the others, I don't rub unless I am in compression and turning. For those with only a spacer or no lift, have you had the wheel turned while off camber and say going up a hill?

Just went out and checked the UCA's. No rub marks at all on them. The odd thing is that if the rubbing was ongoing you would think it would look worse than it is. Perhaps they scratched up the coils during install. Just to make sure I got some gloss Hi-Temp spray paint, spayed it into the cap, and dabbed each scratch repeatedly with a brush and paint. Now the marks are gone and I will let it sit overnight. Tomorrow I will take it out and put it through its paces to see if the rub marks come back.
