What to do for back?

What to do for rear rotors?
Hey Everyone,
So I'm in the market for new rotors in the rear (don't ask why lol ) and looking to get suggestions on what to purchase. I have the www.brakeperformance.com slotted and dimpled rotors with ceramics on the fronts and love them but do I really need the slotted and dimpled in the back? So my question is should I get the same or just go with slotted?
Thanks

From what I have read and studied, the dimples do not help with heat and cleaning near as much as slotted and drilled rotors. However many cheaper drilled rotors do not hold up and are subject to stress cracks and other damage, so dimples were the alternative. The slots alone allow gasses to escape and allow your pads to be cleaned keeping an optimal surface, the dimples do very little contributing to this (if any at all). I said slotted only, because I do not think there is much gain from the dimples, if they are the same price sure get the dimples for piece of mine or for stated cosmetic reasons. If it saves some money getting only slotted, I think that is the better call.

Drilled rotors are for expelling extreme heat in racing applications and are very hard on pads. They are a bit overkill for normal driving. Slotted are not quit as hard on pads but just plain rotors are more than adequate for most driving situations. Also, some have had dusting problems with ceramic. My plain rotors with Wagner TermoQuiets have virually no dust and last 100,000 miles.

Either go with flat "plain" rotors or the slotted rotors, no need for the dimples.

Go to Advance Auto Part's website. Add your Wagner's to your cart. Now open a second tab and go to www.retailmenot.com. Search for Advance Auto Parts coupons. That will usally give you a coupon that will save you at least 20%. Put the coupon code in your checkout cart and you are good to go. Then you can submit for your rebate afterwards. And if you have a store close you can pick them up within an hour if they are in stock.
