can anyone tell why these tires are so cheap?

i found these tires on treadepot.com. theyre unbelievably cheap. cooper zeon ltz 275-60-20 @ $166 per tire. the only thing i can think of why they are so cheap is because they arent LT tires. can someone else tell me why?

They look really good and for some reason I want to say they are pretty popular, so if you are shopping, why not pick em up! Probably an odd ballish size, example, a 285/70/17 Nitto is more expensive by 20-30 bucks a tire vs. a 295/70/17. Why? maybe it's demand for the 285 as it's a OEM size for some vehicles and a popular upsize.

They should be fine but keep in mind they are more of a all terrain looking tire so regardless they aren't going to look all that aggressive on your truck more less a sport looking tire with at tread. Don't know what look you are going for but if they suit your needs that price isn't bad at all. well acutally I dunno about these tires seems like there have been a few problems some members have found https://www.f150online.com/forums/wh...-zeon-ltz.html
and here are a bunch of pics and info on them there are more results you just gotta search...https://www.f150online.com/forums/4282521-post3.html

That is the exact size I have. Overall they are pretty good tires. I did have an issue with a set but Cooper stepped up and took care of it. I have a 30ft travel trailer that I pull and the tires handle it fine. They are not LT but are a XL load rated tire.

We put Cooper Zeon tires on the Wife's Corvette. They were inexpensive and did not last as long as other brands we've used. I'm not sure I'd put Cooper Zeon's on my truck just based on that experience.

They are legit. They aren't LT's as you stated earlier. Other than that, they are good. It all depends on if you want that tire or not. That website normally has very good prices. Good luck

had a set on my truck. They were like, 760-900 dollars for me and they last me a long time. They look like a A/T or M/T but actually a LTX. there a good tire. Better than the nitto to me.

They look very aggressive, I have had more than one person think it was a mud tire but obviously they were not looking real close. They are as capable as any other AT IMO.

These are the Zeon LTZ and they are an AT tire. Not something you would put on a vette.

I bought my set of Zeon LTZ's (275/60/20) last May for $138.00 a tire plus mounting. Great tire so far, I pull a work trailer during the week and my boat on the weekends. The best wet and dry traction tire I've had so far. Much better then the bfg's I had,(IMO). As far as looks go, lots of meat. Do a search, plenty of threads on these tires.https://www.f150online.com/forums/me...1-img-1670.jpg
