My new 38s with RBPs

this is a bad pic, but i just put them on today and had to take one. im going to clean it up real good this weekend and take some better ones. but i also am posting cuz i need advice and help. i thought with 9 inches of total lift the 38-15.50s would clear no problem. but i do have a rubbing issue. wonder if anyone had pics of where they trimmed up there fender well a bit? and also now that im running 38s... i have a programmer... of course its not enough to help these heavy things, lol, so im going to have to gear it down.... what size gears do i need and usually what is a good price on the gears and having them installed. any help and pics would be appreciated.

What lift do you have? You could add a leveling kit or bilsteins and great looking truck

what do you got there a 6" procomp and a body lift so far? Dang thats some big ol meats. Like that combo. Pricey. toooooo rich fo me! ha.. Looks like you can do some coilovers cranked....level spacer or something like that. to get you to 11 at least. I think there are a few guys here running something along those lines with 38's also. hopefully they will chime in for ya

yeah you can fit 38's with 9in.s of lift but the wheel specs matter a lot and the width of the tire. seems like your wheels have about 4.5in.s of BS. that with your tires being 15.5in.s wide makes it require the most amount of lift. you could always trim or put a 2in. spacer in the front to lift it another 2in.s.

I would do the 2 inch spacer but I just have the stage 1 lift. Dont want to double stack spacers. After I get new gears Im goin to save up for coilovers and add a 2 inch spacer to that then a 2 inch add a leaf. I may just trim for now if I can cuz I planned on replacing my fenders with bushwackers later on anyways.

i cant trim the flare. its hitting way too hard. now what??? lol. i dont know what to do. i need to go the cheapest way right now. any suggestions... can i do the 2 inch spacer on top of the pro comp spacer for a while til i can afford coilovers... or is that too big of a risk. with a 2 inch add a leaf in the rear? man im so pissed right now.

Looks good man! I ran my truck for about a year with a my procomp spacer stacked on to a 2" leveling kit and the truck did fine. Its one of them things people dont recommend, but the way I look at is, it cant be too bad since procomp stacks blocks on the rear of the truck. I would say go for it, as long as you are not out beating the crap out of it you should be fine.
