Just got my 37s. Need help with BS on 22s

Ok guys just picked up some 37s. Pics to come later sometime. What I need your help with is backspacing. My wheel choice is most likely going to be the FUEL hostage or possibly going back to an XD wheel. For sure the rim is going to be 22x9.5. Does anyone know what backspacing I should go with to tuck the tires as much as possible without rubbing on the spindle? They make the wheel from 4.5 all the way to 6" of backspacing. I don't want it to hit the spindle or come close though. Tires are 37x13.5R22. Thanks guys.

Good question. 4.5 inches of BS is the most common spec. I don't know if you could use a wheel with more. You could probably get away with 5 inches of BS but I doubt you could use more.

I was thinking I could get away with a 5.5" but my fuels right now are 4 3/4 and I have about an inch of space from the spindle. So I'm thinking you're about right with 5" of b/s.

I don't know if the 22x9.5 will work. It has a 5.5" back space and a 0mm if I'm correct. You will probably need a 22x11. It has a -24 offset with 5" backspace. The 22x11 will look 10x better. The 9.5" has a 3" lip and the 11" has a 5" lip.

Well I'm starting to lean more towards some monsters. I'm going to call rimz one and see if I can get a custom drill again like I did with my octanes. The point behind the 22x9.5s is they are going to be a lot less stress on my front end since I'm 2wd. When they stick out it eats my bearings.

I've always wanted 22s and I always check craigslist religiously and found a brand new set of trail graps for a 22. They were pretty much mounted and taken off, still have the nipples. So I'll finally have the setup I've always wanted. I know its crazy to get rid of this setup especially since its almost brand new but hey go big or go home.

I'm still thinking about the hostages to, I'm just worried about them sticking out to far and being rough on the front end in a 22x11.

Ok I ordered the hostages today. Gotta get them custom drilled again so I won't have them for about 3 weeks. Here's my future setup. Pics to come later on the actual truck.

I think those in the pic may be 22x11. The 22x11's won't stick out that much. That's what I was running on my F-150 in the XD Diesel. It's nothing near a 22x14.

Well regardless it will still look good. Those pics said they were the 9.5 but you may be right. I tried to get the new FUEL boost that came out but they only have it in a 20x9. I need something with a little more bling than my octanes I have now.
