They seem to be getting good reviews.

I have had a set of Nitto NT420s in 305/40/22 for about 35,000 miles and I have been extremely happy with these tires. The wear has been great and I have had no issues with them whatsoever. I also had a set on my wife's Ford Edge and was happy with those as well. I plan on replacing the set I have with the same tires when these wear out.

Thanks for the replies. I'll look into those as well. Appreciate the input. If anyone has any others, I'll take those as well. Thanks!

Thanks for the response. The Generals were on backorder so I think he's going to go with the Nitto 420's for tires. He's still trying to figure out wheels. Wants black, but now worried the KMC Slides have too thin a spoke and will show off all the nasty brake components. Any thoughts?

Will these specs for a wheel/tire combo work? 20x9 XD Thump with 6.38" backspacing (my calculations say that would stick out .62" further than stock assuming stock 17x7.5" with 5.5" backspacing). The tires would be 305/50/20's. Are my calculations correct and will that setup work? Here's a pic of the wheels, tell me what you think. Thanks!
