Seems Like Chrome Goes Better On Black Trucks!

This is just my opinion and some may not agree, but after just looking at several trucks on trucktoyzperformance, it seems that chrome rims look much better on a solid black or any solid color truck than black wheels do. These are a couple or pics I seen on there. The chrome wheels seem to stick out and are more eye catching than the black.

Totally agree with you. My FX4 had so much black on it when I got it with the painted bumpers I couldn't wait to get some chrome on it. I think the all black really makes the chrome pop and the chrome makes the black stand out. I'm thinking chrome grill surround and maybe chrome door handle accents and then sit back and see. Don't want to overdo it.

I think pretty much anything looks better than stock wheels, black or chrome. I like the looks of XD Monsters, as well as polished Eagle alloys...

Make sure to only paint the handle and not the outer shell also. That can look a little tacky. A chrome grill shell would be sweet also. The chrome helps with making it eye catching.

Agreed on the handles only. I have a billet grill insert now but the black grille surround is hail dented. I found a full 1 piece repalacement grill with billet insert I'm leaning towards. It's one of those things you don't know until you bolt it on.

+1 for the Machined + Black.... sometimes down the middle of road (no pun intended) is the best.

I agree. I've never been a fan of the "black out" look.

I'm a big fan of chrome rims...if done right. I think that if they're the only thing chrome on the vehicle (besides bumpers possibly...although I prefer PTM) they look that much better. Black out is getting played out imo. Although there are several blacked out trucks that I like on this site.
