Cool 35" tire question

same old story n same old question but i need some help. Im lookin at gettin the 17x9 Moto Metal 951 -12 offset or the 17x8 XD797 (SPY) 18 offset and throwing 315-70-17 prob kelly safari tsr... Wondering about if ill have any serious rubbing issue with either wheel. If so which one would be a better fit. I dont care if i have to trim plastic or metal just dont want it rubbing my A arm. I have a 05 xlt 4x4 with a 2.5 as level. also if anyone knows anything about these tires please share. I have the 295-70-17 nitto terra grapplers on now n got about 50,000 out of them. other than that its an awful tire that ill never buy again. Cakes up super easy and its terrible in any kind of mud and im talkin like a mud puddle in the driveway (not really but they do suck) so if the safari tsr is anything like that tire, i notice the tread pattern is very similar. but hopefully im wrong cuz its a super cheap tire. any info will help thanks. also if anyone has any pics with this setup of either rim n a 315 please post.

the +18 offset will be much closer to your A arm but will involve much less trimming if any at all. whats the exact specs on those tires? Example (305/60/18 = 33-12.9-18)

The Kelly Safari TSR's are definitly a mud tire! My dads got a set on his and he hasnt even got close to getting stuck yet and he is in it all day....its part of his job. They will not let you down! I would've definitly been getting those if I wasn't planning on getting the 18x9 Moto Metal 951's....(the Kelly's don't come in 18").

i believe you will be good with either rim. but there will be much trimming with -12 i know AZFX4 has tires with similar specs. look at how much he trimmed with +18

You are in for major issues with a rim with only -12 backspace, that is 4". The +18 is 5.2", you shouldn't have any issues with that, not even on the arms.

I just put 35/12.5/17 KM2's on a 8.5" rim with 5.7" backspace and not even close to rubbing anywhere. My truck in an 05 4x4 Screw with your suspension same set up.
