New General Tires

never seen anyone run them you read any reviews or anything?

Ah yes, the General Grabbers. They are the competition tires General uses. Last I remember they weren't selling them and they weren't DOT approved. But it looks like that has changed. I would be surprised if they got more than 35,000 miles out of them.


I do think they look pretty slick though.

Yea, That's my only problem I would hate to spend $1300 and only get about 35k out of them. My Procomps Xtreme's have almost 80k on them.

Anybody ever heard that old addage, "If it ain't broke, don't fix it!"

Sort of comes to mind here. 80k is gonna be almost impossible to beat. BFG is the only one that seems to consistently get reports of that kind of mileage in an A/T tire.

Actually they have just released a DOT version of this tire for consumer use. There have been a few write ups on them in the off road magazines. Should be a good desert tire but wouldnt run them in a wet/snow/ice environment.

I would kill to get 80k on a set of tires. My best is only 55k on a set of BFG AT TA KO's. I might change them before some might though to have good snow traction.
