XD + Nitto TG. Feedback appreciated

I came across this site a week ago and have been on it daily - this is a great resource and I'm really impressed with the knowledge base. It's nice to find a forum that is actually helpful & respectful. (lots of hatred out there right now)

My truck is painfully stock right now and I'm getting ready to customize. I have a wheel/tire combo that I would like feedback on:

- XD Monster 20X9, +18mm offset, matte black
- Nitto Terra Grapplers, 275/55 R20

Obviously not too aggressive; I know they'll fit and I don't want to level. I'd love to do 22s but don't want to break the bank, I can get the above set up for $1600 out the door. I'm also planning on an exhaust, bumpers, de-chroming, sound system - so I don't want to blow my budget on only wheels/tires.

Let me know what you think.

BTW - I'm a former Chevy guy, but GM has gone soft and the F150 was actually an easy choice over a 1500. For my money, the owners trucks on this site are hands down the best looking trucks out there.

I think you'll want a wider tire. 305's would look more aggressive.

#1 i dont thank a 305 will fit , unless he levels it , which he said he wasnt gonna do.

#2 305 is taller , not wider

$1600 seems like a good deal to me , i used to run a seat of Terra Grapplers and i was very pleased with them

Just to clarify, a 305 is first and foremost wider than a 275. It may also be taller, depending on the second number in the size. In metric, the first number refers to width and the height comes from a ratio using the second number. In the English measurements, the first number is height and the second number is width.

In metric tire sizes 305 refers to the width, not the height at all.

The 275/55-20 Nitto TG is 31.8"x11.1"
The 305/50-20 Nitto TG is 32.1"x12.2"

May I recommend a compromise, there is also a 285/55 and 285/50 Nitto TG. Both are in between those specs, in height and width.

rimzoneonline.com is pretty freaking hard to beat too. Free ship on wheels. Also had good luck with tires-easy.com for tires.
