Kelly Safari TSR???

Does anyone know anything about this particular tire? Am trying to decide between this one, the General Grabber AT2, and the Hankook AT'm. I know Kelly tires are owned by Goodyear Tire. Just never really looked at them much until we recently started selling them and now Ford sponsors Kelly tires on the Around-The-Wheel program - so look for these tires to be sold at your local Ford dealerships. They also have a '30-day Test Drive' where you can exchange them with another kelly tire if you don't like them within the first 30 days. http://www.kellytires.com/30-day-test-drive/

Specs at: Kelly Safari TSR

I just had these tires put on my truck today. They are size 315/70/R17. So far so good! They definitely look good - I'll let you know how well they perform.

My dads got these on his truck and loves em! These tires are awesome. He is goin offroad and muddin daily for his job and he says they go through anything. They wear amazing too and are actually quiet. Don't mean to be braggin so much on um but I love them and so does he. I would easily be putting these tires on my truck but they don't come in 18's. He has also had them for about a year and a half/ two years so as far as experience with them.

I had Kelly's on a old 85 F150 I had. Great great great tire! I was disapointed to see they don't make the ones I had anymore. I think mime were DTR's? They looked similar to the goodyear MTR but not quite as agressive. If you like the looks and the aggresivenes of this TSR, I say go for it. I'm just an old man now and want something a little tamer! :-)

Thats a good-looking tire. I called 2 local stores and they don't have them listed, said they must not have been released yet. Does anybody know anything about this? And it would be nice if they offered a bigger size than 275/70 in an 18" rim. Been saving for the 295/70-18 Nitto TG's. Maybe I should wait a little longer. Beastly_95-could you find out what the pricing is on a 275/70-18? And if theres plans on bigger sizes, if you could as theres no info from the 2 tire places that carry Kellys that are close to me. Thanks- Tim

Got a price today at another local tire store, 275/70-18 for $218 ea + tax, mounted and balanced. Might just have to go for it, but the reviews aren't strong. 6-9 for all categories...

Any updates on how these tires are holding up? Getting ready to put tires on the Expedition, and seriously looking at these. or Dynapro ATMs. Only concern with these would be noise, and how they perform, in the rain. I can get a set of these in 285-70-17 for less than a grand out the door.

As far as I know they are still holding up as good as day one. Ya and I kind of live with my dad and he has them. We talk about f150's daily and he has never said anything bad about them. Granite for a mud tire they are not going to be that quiet but surprisingly they are.

Ordered a set this afternoon. Local independent Good Year store quoted me less than a grand out the door, for 285-70-17s. Should be getting them put on next Sturday.

Definietly way more agressive looking than they perform. About as loud as BFG ATs, nad do great in dry, wet, snow, and ice.
