New tires... Need Help with trimming...

I bought DC1 Rims 17x9 with 4.56" backspace and -12mm offset and put 33 12.5 17 tires on them. I don't have them in yet but was wondering what other members did for trimming to fit these tires? Truck is an 150 supercrew 4x4 with a 2.5" leveling kit.

I have 17x8.5 wheels with 4.56 of BS and I'm running 34 inch Toyo Open country MTs with a 2" leveling kit and I did not have to trim anything and there is no rubbing...

I suggest that you dry fit one wheel on a rack and check from lock to lock...

with the -12mm offset you will need to trim the lower valence at the corner and a lil bit on the oem fender flairs if you have them. I have mm 951 with those specs and 33" mud grapplers and thats what I had to do.

The width on those tires may be the problem but if they are all terrains they may fit without trimming. Lower wheelwell, valances and flares are usually problem areas.

those are the exact areas I trimmed on mine but the side lugs on my tires were the main problem.
