Noob-ish Question, Help!

Well guys got a noob question for you. There's a local guy selling 4 33x12.50x15 tires mounted on rims that'll fit my truck for $300 with about 1/3 tread left. What would I need to make these fit? It is a 4wd truck, would just the 2.5" or 3" leveling kit work? Also the tires are BFG Mud Terrains. Any ideas on if this is a good deal or not? Thanks. My truck is a 1993 F150 XL 4wd with the 4.9L I6 300 and a 5 spd with towing package.

Pics of my truck can be seen here:

Planning on this being my learner vehicle for bodywork. Hoping to do it all in the spring and paint it. Thanks for any help!

I think they should fit with out any level, the width may cause a little rubbing, but nothing you could not deal with until you lift a little. Buying used M/Ts can be risky as they require extra TLC for even wear. If taken care of properly 1/3 tread on BFG MTs are still good for quite a few miles, I would guess around ~15k. If you like the rims, its prob not a bad idea.

Ok, any suggestions on leveling kits? Would this one be okay? http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/1980-...item5637187184

Which style are easier to put on? The ones that go on top of the spring or the bottom? If there's a better setup out there let me know. I don't really wanna go too expensive, the 50 bucks for that kit is perfect. but at the same time I don't wanna get something that is gunna make stuff break.

3" is much too high for a leveling kit. The ball joints & CVs will be at too much of a bad angle and the bumps and humps traveled through will wear down these parts and cause pre-mature scheduled replacement. Go with the 2.5" at maximum.

Seems lkw 2.5 is hard to find, but a 2" seems pretty common. Any suggestions for a 2" kit?
