Bleeding Brakes ??

Is there a write up or anything that can show me how to bleed my brakes. I am going to change my brake pads as soon as i get a chance i want to bleed the brake fluid too....(which brand fluid should I use?)

So does anybody know where I can find a write up or video??

Thanks in advance!

Why exactly do you want to bleed your brakes when your only changing pads? It should be good for quite some time from now. How many miles do you have?

I would say no, maybe wait until 100k. If your brakes are functioning properly then all you should need to replace are your pads.

when i replaced my pads one of my calipers stuck so i had to remove the brake line to compress it.

bleeding the brakes takes two people. one inside the cab and one outside. there is a litt nut or hex bolt on the caliper that needs to be loosened. basically put your wrench on it, have the person apply the brakes, and you crack the nut. the pedal will go to the floor, DONT RELEASE THE BRAKE PEDAL. close the nut. repeat. do this until all the air is gone and it squirts out fluid.

we use DOT-3 fluid
