Help with Rims + Tires for 02' 2WD Screw.

I am going to be buying rims and tires soon and am in need of some help.
I have an 02' Screw 2WD and I just ordered the 1.5" Daystar spacers to level out my truck. I am confused by the whole backspacing thing aswell as what the widest rim I can fit on it is and the largest tire.

These are the rims I am looking atm.
http://www.tirerack.com/wheels/Wheel...All&sort=Brand

I want the wide look, where the tires stick out abit on the sides.(I'm not sure if these provide that or not.) If these are right, what is the largest tire I could wrap around these. I prefer A/T tires, and am partial to an aggressive looking tread. I do go offroad frequently although nothing I need 4WD for, but on-road ride quality is important too(Mostly a street truck, but don't care for treadless street tires. I want the low/medium profile walls, but with A/T knobbies).
If someone wants to suggest something to me, feel free to. What I am looking for in rims is black, gloss or flat doesn't matter, 18" or 20" and wide(something that sticks out past the trim of the truck). Budget is an issue, otherwise I would go with Monster XDs. Some time farther in the future I am planning to get a 3" PA Body lift and LSD rear-end to add a little to the off-roadability, but that isn't for atleast another 6-9 months.

Any help is very much appreciated and if someone feels like explaining to me all this tire/wheel mumbo-jumbo so I don't have to ask next time would also be very appreciated.

Thanks.

Those tires will stick out 2 inches farther than the OEM 16x7's and 1.5 inches farther than the OEM 17x7.5's. I'd go ahead and add the 3 inch body lift so you can fit a 305/55-20 (33x12.50). For tires, I'd suggest the BFG AT KO, Nitto Terra Grappler, Toyo AT, Mickey Thompson ATZ, **** Cepek FC II or Pro Comp Xtreme AT.

Yeah I would like to add the 3" BL right away, but I can't afford it atm. So I have to work with just being leveled for now. With this limitation, what do you suggest?

I would just wait then. You won't be able to fit a 33x12.50 tire on a wide wheel without adding the body lift.

Do I need to get 33x12.50? I have 2 extremely bald tires right now that i don't think are gonna last much longer. Would hate to be new stock tires and waste the money. What about 32x11or11.5?

you can run 285/75/16 with the daystar kit which is basically 33x11.5

or on a 17 i think its 285/70/17

So a 285/55R20 would technically fit?
I can trim some of the front valance if need be. Being a 285 tire, 20x9" should work, correct?

it will work but stick out some, you shouldnt have to trim though, its still a short tire size about 30 to 31.5 inches tall

So I am looking around, and am seeing that trying to get rims and tires at 1600$ or less is gonna be hard. Anyone know of any sites with good prices on what I am looking for?

Not sure about the 4x2 but you should be able to get 33's on the rear without the body lift... but not positive. Search around for deals. 4Wheel parts often has a buy 3 get the 4th tire free. Sometimes you can find some nice used rims that you'll never know were used after they're on the truck. $1600 is a tight budget for rims and tires. Good luck!

craigslist is your friend. find some used rims and spend the bulk on the tires, or you can just get a used set of both.

Ok - So my luck just changed abit. I already have the leveling kit coming and now I am ordering the PA 3" body lift as well as blistein shocks and new bushings all around.

Can anyone tell me what bushings I do not need to get with this stuff, and does the BL come with any bushings? I was gonna order a energy suspension master kit, but not sure if I need to.

Thanks.

The body lift does not come with any bushings if I remember correctly and just so that you know, installing a body lift on that truck is not an easy task. Also, the seats will have to come out and you will have to pull back the carpet to get to the body bolts.

It's not hard, it's just time consuming, tedious work. It took me basically all weekend, but I was working my myself most of the time.
