Firestone opinions

I am thinking about getting a set of 285/70R17 Firestone Destination M/T's and I wanted to know if anybody has any opinion on these tires. Eveything that I have read about them seems pretty good but you never know, it is always better to get the info from someone that has used them or know someone who has. Thanks for any assistance.

They were rated #1 in their class in the TireRack customer survey.

I have never owned a set, but I know several people who have, and they say good things about them, I believe they are a great bang for the buck!!

Very good value for the money. Like the reviews say, one of the best M/T's on the market. Fairly quiet, wears well looks nice. A great pick.

I have about 8,000 miles on mine and they haven't worn a bit. I haven't tested them in the mud and probably never will since I have a 2wd. They did get me out of my ditch in my front yard with my boat hooked up to it as well though. I would have been screwed with my factory tires.

I bought them in LT285/70R17. I have about 6k miles on them and I love them.

Edited: Actually I got the A/Ts.
