Nitto TG or Cooper Zeon?
Nitto TG or Cooper Zeon?
Looking to buy new tires this week in a 305/55/20 to put on my stock 20's. I have heard great things about both, so it's almost a coin flip to me. I do mostly highway driving, with a little off roading in the fall for hunting season. Any recommendations? Would I be better off with a dueler revo since I am hardly ever off road? Thanks in advance!
Just thru my new rims and tires on my truck this morning... The Zeons were definitely worth the 6 week wait. These suckers have like a half inch of tread. Super quit too. Rides great for a 305/40/22
I have the 305/55/20 TG on mine now...I am leveled, but I would recommend gettin a bit narrower tire. I have looked at the 275/60/20 Zeon, and it is a 33/11.50....or something like that.
Cooper Zeon's are a great tire!
I have had them fora while now on my truck and I just bought a set of the new Zeon XST with the new tread pattern... I have not ridden on them much though

I just got 2 of 4 of the Zeon LTZ in yesterday. Haven't and wont have a chance to get them on the truck for a couple of weeks, but wow...what a nice tire. I bought them from treadepot.com, shipped to me in 1 day, and for 170 a tire, shipping included. I bought the 275/60/20(33x11.50x20). I think these may be the last brand of tires I buy. I will never understand why people HAVE to buy the top of the line "wear item" like tires. I can understand buying excellent brakes, or suspension parts. I know I will probably catch some crap for that comment, but if people would keep their head and not drive like morons on the road, a "decent" tire will suffice for most peoples applications. There are so many options that are just as nice AND safe out there for SOOOOO much cheaper. I have a set of 305/55/20 Terra grapplers on my truck now. That tire was almost 325 new a peice....thats just nuts. Those were given to me, or I would be just now replacing my worn out Pirellis.

I have had the LTZ's for about 10,000 miles now and love them. Very aggressive looking and not silent but really quite. They ride good too for such a large tire and seem to do well in the little off roading I have done since I have had them. Tread depot is the cheapest place online I have seen for them. Plus cooper has a factory here in Mississippi so I felt like I was supporting the local economy and not sending it all overseas.

Thanks for the review! I'm hoping I get this same result as well!
