Wheel Bearings

2004 F-150 Heritage (97-03) 4X4 4.6L 107,000 miles

Pretty sure I've got a worn wheel bearing. Metal rubbing/whining sound at slower speeds, doesn't change when braking, only on right front. Jacked it up just enough to clear the ground, grabbed top and bottom and it moves quite a bit and clunk clunk.

Question is can these bearings be changed/packed or do I have to buy and replace the entire hub? If so, I believe the best deal I've found is from Rock Auto, any suggestions?

Thanks in advance!

It could also be you ball joints or tie rod ends that are shot.

Hopefully I've already ruled that out. I just replaced both upper/lower ball joints, tie rod ends, and idler arm a month or two ago. No play in any of them that I can see.

sorry, if there is a "clunk clunk" sound you're going to have to replace them
