35" mud grapplers for 22's????
35" mud grapplers for 22's????
I have the factory 22's on my 07 harley f150 4x4. I need new tires and would like to do 35's on my 22" wheels but cant find any. Do they make a 35" mud grappler to fit 22's? maybe 33" mud grappler for 22's. I will level the front out if they do. Would my truck be able to clear 35's on my 22" harley rims? If there is a lil rubbing, that is ok cause my dad owns a body shop and im sure we could make it happen. Thanks.
they don't make the mud grappler in 22 inch sizes except for 37's and bigger, same goes for the toyo mud
285 55 22 is roughly a 35x11.50, they make alot of tires in that size, but mostly all terrains
if you are set on a mud tire, super swamper would be your best bet. either the irok radial or the trxus mt. they also make the trxus sts in 35x12.50-22, looks pretty badass that's to the sidewall, but has a nice ride, so i heard.

trxus mt

ATOM is correct, i searched about 50 tire manufacturers looking to see what kinda 22" mud tires i could find and super swampers had the only 35's. i have heard that there tires, even all terrain, dont last very long.
I had the same situation as you when I had only the 6" lift on my truck. The Trxus MT wasn't out yet and I heard the Iroks didn't last long, maybe 15-20k miles and were $1700 a set. If I recall correct I think BF Goodrich makes a tire, but are very expensive; somewhere around $600/tire. I ended up with the Terra Grapplers. They are a little more aggresive than the Toyo's.

Heres some food for thought. Cooper Tires owns Toyo and Nitto. I'm unsure if Cooper STT is in a 35x12.5R22 but I'll check and let you know what I find for any good MT.
Not sure how they are, I have read some bad reviews, but...runon sentence.... Kuhmo Road Venture tires are decently priced and were always available in huge wheel sizes. Might check into them.
Kuhmo makes great tires!
the kumho mud tire (Road Venture MT KL71) is only available in 37x13.50 for a 22, i checked cooper before and they dont make anything over 20". the Toyo Open Country M/T's would be the best bet, they are available in 33x12.50, 35x12.50, 37x13.50, or 40x15.50 for 22's. the Irok radial only comes in 35x14.50, i dont think it would work with a 6" lift and im pretty sure theres not many rims that would work well with those either.
