Thumbs down Do not buy from

well as you some of you know, i bought some new cruiser stealth alloy 20x10's from a seller on ebay Lynn Wheel and Tire. anyways, i inspected all 4 wheels and 2 of them are unacceptable. 1 has a big flake on the wheel lip and some about 5 pits in 2 different areas and the other has a spot that is orangish on the face, like the chrome is too thin. they are requesting pics, how do you photograph chrome, i'm no a photographer, anyways i am still battling with those people and they won't send me new ones til i prove the others are bad. just a heads up to anyone, pass on buying from this seller, so not worth the trouble

If you know how to really work your camera with manual settings, and your camera allows you to, turn the shutter setting higher to like 10 sec and use flash, thats the best way to get chrome damage viewed.

That sucks. Hope everything works out man. Did your pictures not turn out good when you tried to take them the first time?

I'm not real sure about snapping a pick of damaged chrome, Darren's idea is probably the best. You can also try turning the flash off and snapping a pick of them in a well lit area. Try to avoid light reflections of any kind in the background.

As a professional photog, you want to shoot on such an angle so the flash bounce away not BACK towards the camera. think when you photograph glass, if you stand in front of it, you see the flash in the picture, but if you stand off to the side and let the light bounce AWAY from the camera and not back into it, you will have a clean image. hope this helps.

Hi,
I have given you your options:
1) Keep the wheels and take a $30 refund.
2) Ship the wheels back to me and get a full refund

Chase
Lynn Wheel and Tire

just thought you guys would find this email as humorous as i did, they want me to pay to ship them back. sending out 2 new wheels apparently is not an option i guess, lol. 30 dollar refund on 900 wheels, too funny

Not a good way to do business...Get your money back and cut that company loose, since you couldn't avoid a head ache...avoid the anurism in trying to deal the right business transaction and having you pay for shipment is a load of CRAP!!!...L8TR
