What is best for me?

here's the deal, I want the whole big truck look with big mud tires and nice wheels. But I drive the interstate every day back and forth to work/class.

Would it be best for me to just get a nice wheel and a regular street tire, or are there mud tires that withstand the heavy driving I do 6 days a week?

i am kind of in the same boat as you right now AT vs. MT's... I do know MT's wear faster, ride rougher and sometimes louder.

I would say AT's in your case with all the highway driving.

For me my biggest dilima is how well MT's perform in snow. I mostly drive in city.

I have never run the Toyo's but loved my BFG's. I think they look aggressive, especially for an A/T and they did good (I thought) through two winters in upstate NY. They are pretty expensive, but I think they are great tires.

I have over 33k miles on these BFG's, better for highway use than MT's.//

If you not gonna use a M/T the way they're supposed to be, A/T would be a better investment.
