American Racing sold?

I'm trying to get a set of American Racing Mojaves, but no one seems to have them in stock. One local tire shop told me the company has been sold. Did anyone hear anything like that? Did they sell out or are they going out of business?

yeah the mojaves are impossible to find, maybe be discontinued even . there is a guy who has a set of 20x10's in the classifieds. american racing was the hot ticket 7-8 yrs ago, now there rims are outdated IMO, but they have classics that will never die IMO: Cyclone, Ventura, Atlas, Python. i had them all and loved them, good price and look sweet. too bad they don't make the atlas in a polished 20x10 for newer f150's, i'd be rocking those for sure!

They still have their website up and they show Weld and Moto Metal wheels alongside of the American wheels. Who know's what can happen in today's economy. I've been buying American Racing wheel's since back in the mid 60's and have 2 set's of them now for my current truck. American Racing built in China!

Thanks for the info guys.

I did see that set in the classifieds, but I'm looking to get them in 17x8...

They're listed on the Wheel Pros site in the correct bolt pattern for a F150, but if you look for available wheels for a 2008 F150 the Mojaves don't show up. Weird. I've definitely seen them before on a 04-08 f150

I wonder why they dont make the classics in our sizes...I had nitros on my ranger and I loved them, I would have bought them in a heartbeat for my 150 if they made them

this was the day I bought them, had 245 60R 15 radial t/a's on them
