Tire size question

Two quick questions; I want to get a little wider tire for the truck, what size would I need to get (current size 265/60-18). I'm not too worried about the speedo being a little off. The second, can I swap the left to the right for rotation purposes. Both right side tires are worn much more than the left sides. The truck is 2wd.
Thanks

You could go to a 285/60/18 tire. It will be about an inch wider and taller. If you add a level kit you could go to a 285/65/18. Most tires these days are directional. Look on the sidewall; the arrow will indicate the direction of rotation.

I'd figure out why my tires were wearing so unevenly before I got new ones.

But Dihlon is right about the sizes, it's really just whatever you prefer.

The rights wear because I think that is the drive wheel. I have had it aligned and the tread wear is even across the tires on all four corners. I can't complain too much, I have 35k on the original BFG crappy tires and the worst one is at 3/32. I was just hoping to get another 10k out of them before dropping a grand on new rubber.
