M/T or A/T

I have a choice to make between a 35x12.5 BFG M/T K2 or a 325/60 Nitto Terra Grappler. Most of my driving is on the pavement. The most off-roading I get is at the ranch which is not very extreme. I like the aggressive look of the BFG but don't want them to wear down fast like I heard most M/T tires do. Need some advice please.

IMO I would go with the nittos they should last longer.

I only have a 2wd but I have the Nitto TG's in 285/65R18 and I love the looks and performance. I have had them in the past and got about 45k on them.

if you are looking at the Mud-Terrain T/A KM2 i would say get those. some members on here have them and only have good things to say. they have also commented on how well they handle on road and that they are wearing very well. do a search, you should find plenty of info on them. the nitto's are great tires but the bfg's look better imo and should last just as long.

BFG's have amazing tread life. And MT's look so much better.

The 325's are big, and pushing fitment issues imo.
From what a friend told me, the 325's will definitely rub on the lower control arm at full lock.
I just mounted BFG KM2's (35x12.50R18's) on stock 18's with Bilstein 2" leveling shocks, and I have no rubbing whatsoever, lock to lock. Haven't had them offroad yet but drove in and out of multiple driveways, bumps, etc (whatever I found) and nothing rubbed.
The only bad thing I can say, so far, is that they are spendy. But so is anything is this size.
On a side note, check tire weight too. The BFG was a bit lighter than the equal sized Toyo M/T. Might compare it with the grapplers as I hear they are real heavy.

Check out mine with the KM2's...

well, i cant personally speak for the KM2's (although i was VERY close to buying some based on all of the good reviews), but i can honestly say that i HATED the terra grapplers i had. we get a lot of rain here, and the grapplers tended to hydroplane on me quite a bit. and in the wintertime, there snow/ice traction is nothing to write home about.
