Both are excellent. You need to first decide if you need an AT or MT.

Slightly less aggressive, BFG AT's are one of the best AT's ever made. They will hold their ground very well in a variety of offroad situations. If you want good tread mileage, go with the AT. if you offroad frequently, seriously consider the MT. MT's are generally louder, heavier, perform better off road, and last shorter than their AT counterparts.

x2
I loved my BFG's when I had them. They are pretty expensive though. Once you decide which type of tire you want I think you'll be able to make a quicker decision.

I just got the Hankook ATM. They ride great. Hankook was what came OEM on my truck. At first, I was disappointed that Ford didn't use Firestone anymore. But the Hankook tires are good.

so... what kind of terrain do ya play in ? Want good street performance ? Quiet tires ? Good mud tires ? Whats your preference.

Toyo m/t = best looking street tire IMO. Great street wear. Last long time. Quiet. But not the best when you get into the mud. They doughnut real quick. I would compare em to a real aggressive a/t like the bfg a/t or the pro-comp extreme a/t (favorite a/t)

Pro-comp extreme muds = very aggressive. bite through anything. Awesome traction off road. Loud down the highway. Wear slightly quicker, but doing far better then i thought they would.

BFG km2 = probably the best of the two world. Decent street performance, and good off-road. Getting great reviews. Suppose to last a good while too.

Hope that helps a little.

x2.

I've got the Cooper STTs in a 315/75r16 and they're great. They didn't cost too much, and i think they look pretty good too. I've taken 'em in the mud probably 5 times and i havn't gotten stuck once, and they felt like they were pullin pretty good. My buddy has the buckshots on his f150 and they pull through just about anything, i don't think i've ever seen him get stuck. Between the two i think the STT looks better, but the buckshot seems to be a little quieter on the road though.

another option you could look at are the pro comp mud terrains. i recently got a set and they perform very well in all conditions. also they wear amazing on the road. i am going to college in ohio and i drive home every two weeks 850 miles and the tires are still in awsome condition and i have been doing this for a while now... and they were pretty reasonably priced i thought

Pro-comp extreme muds = Wear slightly quicker,
Just slightly. I was @ 4 Wheel Parts (home of Pro Comp), and there was a guy getting a new set of tires under warranty because his were worn unevenly after 1 year of driving w/ only 18,000 miles.
