can i go with a bigger tire

I purchased a nice set of wheels which had 305/35/24. I have 2" drop shackles in the rear and the rest is stock. Can I go with a bigger wheel at all. Something with a little more rubber?

your just dropping the rear to level it. then you should be able to fit a stock size tire fine i would assume. just calculate a stock size tire onto a 24" rim.

I'm confused. You say you purchased a set of 24's but you want to know if you can go with a bigger wheel? I know I've seen a couple of pics of F-150's on 26's, but I think 22's or 24's look the best.

I want to go with a bigger tire than 305/35/24 on the 24's if its possible. That sounds better. I think I worded it right this time.

What is your year model of truck and your oem tire and rim size. Info is located on door jam, if 2004 and up, that year model had 17 or 18 inch rims.

Yeah, a 305/35-24 is the most common size for 24's. If you have a 4x4, you may be able to go to a taller 24 inch tire. Do you have any rubbing now?
