What went wrong !!!!!!
yesterday i changed my pads and had the rotors turned on my "00" F150. I used a clamp to squeeze the caliberpistons back, never braking the system open to let air in. Put everthing back together and pumped up brakes, took extra steps and cracked bleeder on all four calibers just to make sur I got no air. Today while running to FIRE CALL, I almost had a MVA cuase I put the pedal just about thru the floor board trying to stop. WTF did I do something wrong.

It was not my first stop, but my 3-4 stop, I bled them thinking that perhaps some air had some how got in the system. This was done after the pedal to the floor incident. I should not have had to do this since i never broke the system Right???? Today it seems I have better brakes than yesterday. Still a little spongy.
I carefully crack the bleeders while I'm pushing back the pistons , just so no dirty fluid gets into the abs system .
I always heard this was very important with abs so thats what I do .
I don't know what caused your dilema but I'd be flushing those lines pronto .

That is why you break 3 or 4 times in the garage very hard before you even put the truck in gear to leave the garage. I think something was not seated right, then when you hit the brakes hard, it seated. I've heard of people driving into the garage wall before getting the slaves pumped and pads seated.
Well KRAZYBALLER wins the money, It was in fact the flexline. Apparently while the calibers were off, the weight of the caliper itself tore the line loose just barely from the crimped fitting. When I bled the brakes the fluid released disguised the real leak. Line replaced ( all 4) and Im back in business. Thanks to everyone who posted there advice and suggestions. You guys really know your @#%$

when i was like 14 or 15 (cant remember) i changed brake pads on my 02 f150. forgot to pump the brakes up enough and anyways while backing up realized i had no brakes. thru truck in park. jumped out to stop it (i no very stupid) so it would not hit my sisters car. trailer hitch went into my leg and smashed against my sisters tire. tore the muscle off the bone and a big whole in my leg. had surgery to put the muscle back on the bone and some stitches and crutches for a little over a month and i was good as new!
oo btw my mom does not allow me or my dad to do the brakes anymore....

That tops my story, and this one may never be topped. I get a kick out of your Mom. For you cost of those hospital bills you could have had your brakes replaced for life.
