305/65/r18 aftermarket rim.

Just curious to what size wheel I can fit these on. Would they fit on a

18x8.5 or 9 wheel? I know the stock bolt pattern is 6x135 for my type of truck.

You can easily fit that tire on an 8 to 10 inch wide wheel. The question is about fitting the tire/wheel combo on the truck and how much lift you have.

I just have the 2.5" AS to level out my truck. I don't have wheel spacers because I herd they kinda suck to have.

In that case, I'd stay with an 8 to 9 inch wide wheel with at least 5 inches of backspacing.

Look on American Racing's website, they list wheel diameter, lug pattern, width and backspacing with offset's. Pretty precise. I'd go with an 8 1/2" wide wheel with 5 to 5 1/2 inches of backspace. These would stick out 1 to 1 1/2 inches more than stock. Also the 305x65 tire is close to 34 inches tall and would look great on a leveled 4x4. Good luck!

No, they are basically a 34x12.50-18 tire.

Nice

Did you have any trouble fitting that size on, did you have to do any trimming, do you have any rubbing etc etc? i'm debating on running the same size (305/65/18) or a 325/60/18 on a Pro comp 7005 with 5" backspacing.

Sorry Dan, just saw your question. Only trimming I had to do is on the flares...very minor. At full lock, occasionally I hear a very slight rub. Great fit overall!

Hey no problem man, i actually ended up getting the same size as you, so i guess i have some trimming to look forward too. The above picture is a little unsettling.

But they look awesome on your truck, so i think it may be worth it (i hope).
