Power Slot question

I just ordered up a set of power slots for my truck (05- F150 SC) for the front. I also ordered Hawk LTS pads for front and back. Reason for changing the front disks is BC one of them is out of whack and need to be replaced. The rear disks are pretty good with no groves so I am not replacing them. I did not want to spend another $200 on rear disks since they are still good.

My question is it should not make a difference running the power slots up front and regular disks out back? I mean I am going to follow the bed in directions on the pads and will get some scotch bright pads and hit the rear disks first.

I am just second guessing my order on a performance stand point. Not sure if I should get the rear disks also but it’s another $200 I could use to not spend.

You should be ok. Just change the rears when you can. By the way, you'll love the Power Slots. So much better braking than OEM.

Good deal... Thanks for the info and I am looking foward to the new brakes. You are one of the people I kept reading the good reviews on the power slots. I would have gone with the car quest blue pads but there is not a location close to me to get them.

From what I hear, the Hawk pads are good also. I just went with the Blues since there are a lot of Carquests around here.

Do you guys notice it is nosediving with just the Powerslots on the front? I am thinking of putting Powerslots on just the front also, as my rear rotors are fine.
