2000 F150 (are 285/75/16R too big without a lift kit ??)

I currently have a set of Firestone 265/75/16R tires on my 2000 Ford F-150, Ext. cab, Long bed 4x4 (stock alloy ford rims) Truck is stock height, not lifted.

I found a nice set Forged Alloy Weld Racing rims with Dunlop A/T Radial Rover tires, LT285/75R16.

Does anyone know if these will tires fit on the truck without rubbing on the fender wells ??

Is they any way to know without putting them on the truck first ?

thanks for any tips

They will fit easily. If you use a 10 inch wide wheel, you willl have to trim about 1/2 inch off the front bumper's lower plastic valance. I have pics in my gallary of my Screw with 285's at stock height.
