ok guys, i am still debating which way i want to go. so here is another question.

for these rims:

20x8.5 Chrome 6 on 135mm Acorn +40 mm 6.288 3174-06 2100 lbs. 40 lbs.

22x9.5 Chrome 6 on 135mm Acorn +40 mm 6.785 3174-06 2100 lbs. 46 lbs

what size tires should be used. my truck will have a 2.5/4 drop on it so im trying to avoid all rubbing issues but still have a really good tire to rim ratio. i am also looking to avoid having the tires stick out of the wheel wells.

for the 22's i have been looking at 305/45's, 285/45's, and 275/45's but i think the 275's will have too rough of a ride.

for the 20's im looking at 285/50's, 275/55's, and 265/50's

give me your opinions on which would look the best, ride the best for each rim size.

 

I'd go with the 22's without a doubt. I'm just guessing on tire size but a 285/45-22 sounds about right.

 

i posted in the street scene forum as well im guessing they will probably know best about the sizing.

wandell, what size are you running? 305's?

 

ON the 22s i would go with the 305 45s for the 20s i would go with the 285 50s. Any off the tire sizes you have picked will work for you application.

 

Go with the 22's on a 305/40/22 tire. Nice street look if thats what your going for.
