probably not, the 4x2 sits lower than the 4x4, therefore, less clearance. i could be wrong, however.

You could probably do it with the right wheel. Like 8 inches wide with 5.5 inches of backspacing.

04-08 4x4 leveled 2.5"- - -35x12.5 (stock wheels)

I was wondering if 35s would fit on a 4x4 with only a 2" leveling kit? And what size of rims would they need to be on?

What are the specifics (backspacing, width) on the stock 17" rim? what type of backspacing is needed for a 305 on an aftermarket rim?

Several members have 35x12.50's on stock 4x4's with leveling kits and the oem wheels.
The oem wheels are 7.5 inches wide with 5.5 inches of backspacing.
What is the rest of the tire size? 305/??-17???
