general rule around here is... if your thinking about going bigger... go for it, if not you'll always wonder "what if". If you want to make sure before you purchase though... go to a local deal that has the tires your thinking about, and put them up against your truck then decide.

If they are going on stock wheels than go with 35s.

If they are going on aftermarket wheels than go with 33s.

Split the difference and go with the 305x65x18's. These are close to 34 inches.

Go with the 33s then if you dont like them in the future then you can always upgrade to the bigger tire. But 33s would look fine on that truck. 35s would look bad azzzzz!!

Can someone explain why 33”s for an aftermarket wheel and 35’s for stock 18’s. Also what will the 35’s do to your gearing? I’m running 3:73’s and the 5.4 motor and have done the usual exhaust, CAI, tuner, pulleys, and e-fans but I would hate to kill all of this just because I wanted a extra inch or two on a tire size.

Thanks,

I really love my KM2's! If you want to keep your stock wheel go with the 35's. Aftermarket wheels you should run 33's. The reason the 35's fit is that the rim width is 7.5" and the backspacing is just right.

Here's a pic if you want to see the 35" KM2's

Very few after market wheels are close to oem and the stick out to far for 35's, making them rub. The stock wheels allow you to fit 35's without rubbing, except minor rubbing at full lock. Also, if you plan on offroading it would probably better to get the 33's if your not eventually going to get a lift. You should be ok with gears. 35's are as big as you want to go without regearing. I haven't redeared for my 35's and the power is ok.
